Dr. Baptist takes pride in the high quality of care that she delivers to patients, and they have been impressed with her excellent chairside manner, eye for detail, and patience to listen and work with their individual goals for treatment.

When she isn’t in the office, you can often find her surrounded by her rescue dogs and cats. She enjoys watching sitcoms, gardening, and working on home renovation and design projects at home. She also loves visiting local restaurants and breweries, attending festivals and parades, hiking, shopping, and traveling to new places with beautiful scenery to explore.

Dr. Baptist grew up in Mt. Prospect, IL, and graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. On her summer breaks, she was a camp leader for children with special needs with N.S.S.E.O. (Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization).

She then attended Southern Illinois University – School of Dental Medicine where she achieved a Doctorate degree in Dentistry, as well as a passion for dental esthetics. During that time, she was recognized three times by the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, for being ranked at the top of her class.

Dr. Baptist earned her Master’s degree in Orthodontics and Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics at Saint Louis University. While there, she studied the art and mechanics of tooth movement, as well as the latest research in the field of orthodontics. As part of her Master’s thesis, she performed her own research project evaluating how “overbites” and “underbites” impact the way people stare at individual facial features. Additionally, she worked an externship on the Cleft Lip and Palate Team at Cardinal Glennon Hospital in Saint Louis which Dr. Baptist considers to be one of the most rewarding and enjoyable aspects of her orthodontic residency.

Mike – Office Manager / Financial Coordinator

We are thrilled to welcome Mike to the Baptist Orthodontics team as our new Office Manager/Financial Coordinator. With over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry, complemented by his background in dental office management, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for exceptional patient care.

Mike has a proven track record of enhancing office efficiency and ensuring a positive experience for both patients and staff. His extensive experience in financial services and dental office management makes him uniquely equipped to oversee our operations and improve patient flow and satisfaction.

Mike is married and a proud father of three boys. He and his family live in Mahomet, where they are active members of the community. Outside of work, Mike enjoys attending live music events, cheering on the Red Sox, and supporting his sons in their various sporting activities. Please join us in welcoming Mike to our team!

Kyndra – Lab & Records Technician

Kyndra is our expert lab and records technician. This entails taking photographs, digital scans, and xrays on our patients, as well as fabricating aligners, retainers, and 3D models. However, after working in the orthodontic field for sixteen years, you can find her doing practically any job around the office!

Kyndra is a kind, easy-going member of our team and excels in orthodontic expertise. She also has a fantastic memory for recalling all of her patients and their individual needs! Kyndra comes from a large family and enjoys meeting new people.  She likes watching movies and cooking shows, traveling, camping, and riding motorcycles. She and her boyfriend of 23 years also have a large, beautiful pet parrot named Chloe!

Milan – Treatment Coordinator

Milan is our dedicated Treatment Coordinator, ensuring each patients’ experience is smooth from start to finish. Originally from sunny California, Milan brings a touch of West Coast warmth to our office. She is an adventurous foodie who loves exploring new cuisines and is always up-to-date with the latest TV shows. In her free time, she enjoys catching up with friends and seeking out the next best dining spot. When you come in for your exam appointments, you’ll be greeted by Milan’s friendly face, ready to guide you through your visit.

Taylor – Orthodontic Assistant

Taylor has been assisting at Baptist Orthodontics since 2021. She is easy-going, kind, and thoughtful about her work. She is also the team member that keeps everyone laughing throughout the work day! She enjoys working on braces and helping patients achieve their ideal smile. In fact, she is so passionate about braces, that she recently had her own orthodontic treatment completed at Baptist Orthodontics!  In her spare time, Taylor enjoys country music and spending time with her family and pets.

Jessyca – Scheduling Coordinator

Meet Jessyca, our dedicated Scheduling Coordinator at Baptist Orthodontics. Jessyca plays a key role in ensuring our office runs smoothly by answering phones, greeting patients with a warm smile, and efficiently scheduling appointments to fit our patients’ needs. Outside of work, Jessyca enjoys baking delicious treats, arts and crafts, reading, and exploring new travel destinations. Her creativity and attention to detail make her an invaluable part of our team.
